Mapuka Museum

The visit to MAPUKA is a 25,000-year journey through the Colombian Caribbean, where we will sensitively recognize the various historical and cultural processes that took place in this territory. This journey begins with the first settlers of the continent and the megafauna, to continue in San Jacinto, a place where 8,000 years ago a group of hunters and gatherers produced the first pottery recorded in America; we also explore the Malambo Tradition located in the south of the department of Atlántico, whose members were sedentary societies that stood out for the cultivation of bitter yuca.
